Kirk Bowman has been named Director – Timken Belts, responsible for the overall strategic objectives and organizational success of the belt division. Timken Belts employs approximately 700 associates with manufacturing facilities located in Springfield, Missouri and Fort Scott, Kansas.
Kirk has been a leader in the belt industry for over 30 years and brings a wealth of experience to this role. He has held various positions of leadership in research and development, engineering, technology and product development. He most recently served as the director of technology and business development.
Kirk earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri. He has been active in the Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers, holding leadership roles of president and is currently a member of ARPM’s board of directors.
