The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR; www.timken.com), a world leader in engineered bearings and mechanical power transmission products, is combining its belt and chain businesses under the leadership of Dave Dehlman. By merging Timken Belts, Diamond Chain and Drives Chain, Timken will leverage best practices and resources to accelerate growth and better serve customers.

As president, Dave will be responsible for Timken’s belt and chain business globally. These groups share many common customers and have similar service models. This change will better align the organization to ensure common goals with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Dave earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Buffalo. Dave joined Timken in 2015 as general manager – rail operations. In 2016, his role was expanded to include aerospace manufacturing. Most recently, Dave served as director – aerospace, rail and belts manufacturing.
